Those of you who may have read the news section on the website a while ago now will be aware that we have now become a subscription site. As of the end of March 2011 a registration fee of £10 is now required to become a member.
I am only too aware that this introduction will dissuade many from continuing with registration with us, for that i am saddened. Following a review, it has been made apparent that running Newforest Newfriends as a free registration site, has not contributed to the development or reciprocal feedback or interaction expected.

But as a fee paying member i believe you will benefit from your membership by becoming more involved in. Becoming a member means you will be eligible to regular updates of upcoming events and discounts of between 10%-20% off any early bookings and events booked in advance.

We shall be offering Music based evenings, which will be Soul Music 70s, 80s, 90s, Dance music, and Soulful funkyhouse, music. However, i am always open to any sensible suggestions for other genres of music nights. This new offering which we will be providing will run in conjunction with our other activities.

I hope that this new direction in which i hope to take Newforest Newfriends will liven things up a bit and perhaps encourage the young at heart among you, to show there’s life in you yet!!!

These nights are for any age group, its a case of whether you like music and want to listen to music in a chilled and welcoming environment meeting other people and enjoying a buffet along the way. The establishment of this new arm of Newforest Newfriends, like it’s main stay it can
and will, only continue and flourish with the support and encouagement of its members…
